Major Changes to Amazon's Shipping Policies
Free Shipping on Qualifying Orders
Amazon has announced major changes to its shipping policies, offering free shipping on thousands of items for all customers on qualifying orders over CDN $35. This change eliminates the previous minimum purchase requirement of CDN $25 for Amazon Prime members.
Free Delivery on First Order
In addition to the free shipping offer, Amazon is also offering free delivery on first orders at checkout. This applies to all customers, regardless of their Prime membership status.
Expanded Eligibility for International Orders
Amazon has expanded the eligibility for free shipping on international orders. Customers shipping to an eligible international destination with at least the stated minimum dollar amount will now qualify for free shipping.
Removal of Minimum Purchase Requirement for Prime Members
Amazon has also removed the $25 minimum purchase requirement on millions of items eligible for Prime. This means that Prime members can now enjoy free shipping on even more items.
Free One-Day Delivery for Prime Members
Prime members shipping to most cities and towns across Canada can choose to receive free one-day delivery on eligible items.
